Spouse Visa (KITAS) - What is this visa for?

The Spouse KITAS is the visa you are looking for if you are foreigner married to an Indoensian citizen. By obtaining the spouse Sponsored Visa you have the validity to stay in Indonesia for up to 5 years.

How to get a Spouse Visa (KITAS)

1. Provide all documentation relevant to the KITAS and we will verify to ensure a successful application.

2. All documentation will be uploaded to the online immigration system. Once the visa is authorised the applicant will receive an e-visa (Electronic Visa), which they will need to print.

3. Upon arrival to Indonesia, the applicant will need to do a biometric whereby; they take a profile photo, as well as provide fingerprints.

4. The KITAS (Stay Permit) will be issued and given to the applicant within 3 days.

5. Within 14 days of the KITAS issuance, you must register at the Civil Departments, whereby you will obtain your SKSKPS (Certificate of Family Formation of Temporary​​ Residents) and STM (Police Certificate).

Application Requirements

To initiate your Spouse Visa (KITAS) Application, ensure you have the following documents ready:​

1. Passport with minimum 18 (eighteen) months validity.

2. Photograph, sized in 3 cm x 4 cm: 2 pieces, red background.

3. Marriage Certificate (Akta Nikah).

​4. ID Card (KTP) of Indonesian spouse.

5. Family Card (Kartu Keluarga) of Indonesian spouse.

6. Birth certificate (Akta Lahir) of Indonesian spouse.

7. Bank Statement of Indonesian spouse with minimum balance IDR 20,000,000 (twenty million).

8. A Certificate of No Impediment (CNI) if married outside Indonesia.

9. Domicile letter from sub-district (kantor kelurahan) or domicile letter from Building Banagement.​​
