Second Home Visa (KITAS) - What is this visa for?
The Indonesia's second home visa is new long-term visa program to provide a permit that allows foreigners to stay in Indonesia for up to 10 years, depending on specific conditions. The government officially launched this visa for individuals to engage in non-work related activities such as investment, tourism visits, and retirement..

The visa is a term length of 5 or 10 years which is optional depending on preference. The initiative is meant to aid in bringing wealthy foreigners into Indonesia to help aid in building the economy.

How to get a Second Home Visa (KITAS)
1. Provide all documentation relevant to the KITAS and we will verify to ensure a successful application.
2. All documentation will be uploaded to the online immigration system. Once the visa is authorized the applicant will receive an e-visa (Electronic Visa), which they will need to print.
3. The applicant may now enter Indonesia using the E-Visa.
4. Upon arrival to Indonesia, the applicant will need to do a biometric whereby; they take a profile photo, as well as provide fingerprints.
5. The KITAS (Stay Permit) will be issued and given to the applicant within 3 days.
6. Within 14 days of the KITAS issuance, you must register at the Civil Departments, whereby you will obtain your SKSKPS (Certificate of Family Formation of Temporary​​ Residents) and STM (Police Certificate).
Application Requirements
​1. Copy of passport with a minimum of 36 months until expiration.​
2. Letter from Sponsorship/Guarantor.
3. Proof of funds to a minimum value of Two Billion Rupiah (or equivalent).
​4. Recent colour photograph 4x6 (red background according to circular, white background according to immigration website).
5. Curiculum vitae.​​
